Problem Behavior Solving

Private consultations are available when problem behaviors arise - as they so often do!   Problems can range from submissive urination to dangerous aggression, from destructiveness to disobedience, from too active and playful to ignoring you completely. Identifying exactly what the cause of the problem is sometimes half the battle.  For instance, destructiveness is often times caused by boredom

One of the first things you must do is to have your pet checked out by your vet. Be forth coming with your vet about the behavior problems because they can stem from pain, a breed tendency, or even hormone levels that are off. Give your pet the benefit of the doubt that the problem are from a physical cause. For instance, many urinary infections have caused housebreaking problems, especially if the your dog was housebroken before.

Below is only a small list of problem behaviors:

  • Barking

  • Separation Anxiety

  • Getting into the Garbage

  • Difficulties House breaking

  • Destructive Chewing

  • Fear relataed behavior

  • Food Guarding

  • Begging for food

  • Digging

  • Door Dashing

  • Fence Jumping

  • Car chasing

  • Jumping up

Again, Obedience Dynamics requires a full veterinarian exam prior to training to rule out any possible health issue that may be causing any problem behavior.
