Stuff you should know…..
Proof of Vaccinations:
We want everyone to stay healthy! Please make a copy and bring with you your proof of vaccinations the first day of your class.
Arriving to class:
When you arrive, please pull into the driveway and park behind my truck.
Don’t worry about asking your dog to potty prior to coming into the backyard…we will take care of that once inside the gate.
Typically, the student before you will be gone but please wait inside your vehicle for me to come get you. We work with dogs that sometimes don’t see the world through rose colored glasses and we try our best to avoid situations.
Please do NOT let go of the leash - assuming your dog will run straight to me! It doesn’t always work that way and we could both be chasing your dog through the neighborhood.
Equipment you will need:
A proper fitting collar (meaning something that your dog can’t slip or back out of
4-6ft nylon or leather leash (ABSOLUTELY NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES!)
Small treats! Keep them small and soft…..we are rewarding your dog as he learns - not feeding him an extra meal. You’ll also want a treat bag to carry them in. (You can find a ton of them on Amazon!)
Your dogs favorite toy for a few minutes of play at the end of class.
Registration, Cancellations + Refund Policy:
Your class/preferred time slot is not guaranteed until payment in full has been made.
After the first day of class, no refunds are given.
We understand life happens and you may have to cancel a class. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible (but we also realize stuff happens last minute!). We will simply add that missed day at the end, extending your classes by a week.
Repeated cancellations will result in forfeit of your reserved class time and no refund will be given. However, for cancellations more than twice, you can choose to pay our per hour fee to extend your time slot.
Reaching out to us…..
We really want to hear from you!
Whether you text, Facebook message or send an email, please know that we will get back to you as soon as we have more than a minute to give to you.
We do our absolute best to respond same day, however, it may be up to 24 hours.
We don’t answer messages before 9am or after 8pm
We don’t respond on weekends (because it’s our weekend too!)

Absolutely! It’s great to involve the whole family in training because the reality is, your dog should learn to respect + listen to them too, right? And we can help facilitate that relationship. However, we have found that kids under about 5 tend to get bored and it’s best to bring something along to keep them entertained.

I GOT YOU! You wouldn’t believe the number of students that are super nervous about starting class, either because they’re afraid they just won’t catch on or they’re worried their dog will be overly excited. It’s normal! And I promise…..I got you. You have absolutely nothing to worry about and by the end of your first class, you’ll feel much more relaxed!
